I SAY: Walking into the new year.... Got home in the wee hours of the morning.... Yawn!!.. Feeling really tired... But I'll try to tell ye what 'telah' happened... So sad!! Was asked by my colleagues to go to Esplanade/Suntec to so-called ushered the new year in. Hahaha... Freshbie on doing countdown.. Didn't wanna go but said it was great last two years.. So like a lamb I followed suit..Was expecting some fireworks to brighten up the skies but then when we were there.. Gosh!!... Unbearable crowds!!.. Kids shouting here and there!!... Running here and there!!... All the hype up but alas nothing... No countdown!!.. No fireworks!!.. All we had are flares.. My guess they're from the ships beyond.. At the end of nothing, we decided to walk... Yup.. yup...WALK!! Walked all the way to Lau Pa Sat to have late supper and walked again all the way to Bugis....well near to it...By that time it was nearly 2 or 3 in the morning. So we took a taxi and here I am after the disappoinment... Aargh..I think I got cheated by my colleague... Why?.. We might have miss the fireworks due to the wrong timing that was given to us... Did a check on the internet and this is what I found..
