Gonna give my friend & I a pat on our backs for being so courageous enuff to make that trip to Japan..Just the two of us!! Eventhough been thinking & planning about it half a year, it was such a big feat for us.. So scared that we might get lost but thankfully 4 Iqna her Japanese language & my map reading skill, we are able to move ard without any problem...

But let me just tell u eventhough people were very friendly, it is best to hav someone equipped with Jap lang. shd u be going free & easy..Aniway..I'll try to put up some pix for you guys to view...


First day In Tokyo..A rush down to the Hotel..A quick dinner..
A nice warm bed... Away from the freezing weather...

Second Day in Hakodate...A ride thru the town..Caught a glimpse of Sakura...
Temperature was 18deg by the way... Hotel service was ok...

First day tour in Hakodate...Walking down the pavement...
Red brick warehouses..and lunch by the pier..

Had a taste of squid ice cream...Waited till nightime...Gorgeous lighting by the way....
Snacks & stuffs we bought in a convinient store..

3rd day in Hako...Visited morning market...Had lavender ice cream
..not to mention green tea too...& Donburi for lunch..

At Goryokaku Park...sakura are definitely blooming there...

Strolling ard Motomachi Area..Lots of Churches...Some better seen in the night

Last day in Hako...Posing by the streetcar..Pass by the Teddy Museum...
Had my final shopping in the Red Brick warehouses..

Korean dramas/movies have been warming their ways up to everyone's hearts, not to mention me. I've been hooked to them since they first appeared on CityTV. Yup that's like way... way back. And been loving the way they potray rays of emotions in such dramas like Beautiful Days, Dae Jang Geum, Winter Sonata, Autumn in my Heart and many more... And how about those hilarious encounters in My Love Patzzi, Full House and My name is Kim Sam Soon. These dramas will surely tug your heartstring and leaves you wanting more..

How these movies and dramas are told is what I deemed to be unique... .Those movies I've watched it's like... the ending is mostly foretold in the early part of the movie but one would not understand why the scene was there until it was revealed at the final end of the movie..Sometimes it is too sentimental..that tears began to flow...and sometimes too hilarious till you don't know whether to cry or to hit your head against the wall.. Well, how I felt might not be the same as you guys but...

Try these for size:
1. Goong ~ Princess Hours

It's a different Korea, where a royal family rules and a beautiful palace sits in the heart of modern-day Seoul. It is how an ordinary strong willed young art student girl find herself to be the next crown princess to a seemingly callous prince because of an old promise made between the former king of Korea and the girl's grandfather. Will Chae Gyung survive the extravagance of palace life while falling faster and faster in love with her husband, the lonely and reluctant prince.

In this modern Cinderella story where scandals, love triangles, and royal jealousy can all fit in the shoe, will Chae Gyung beat against all odds?.. Can love blossom with love rivaly and political ambitions coming from every corner..

My Say:
I suggest you catch the drama..If possible in its original voices :P ... Gave it a 4 out 5 stars...

2. Jewel In The Palace ~ Dae Jang Geum

Based on a true story about a legendary girl(Jang-Geum) who became the first woman to be the supreme royal physician of her times. Despite her poor condition as a low class girl in the male dominated society, Jang-Geum overcame a series of social discrimination and landed herself as a royal cook, later becoming the royal physician, then ultimately the physician in charge of the king. She was even given by the king the title"The Great Jang-Geum".

My Say:
Having to watch Jang-Geum preserve in every trials put in her way was such heart wrenching..Having to cry buckets almost after every episode, these episodes are best to watch on the weekend where you don't have to appear to work in such panda eyes..hehehe

3. Bad Family

A girl, who named Na Rim lost her family in an accident. She is the only survivor in the car wreck. Her uncle suspects that an employee of the family company is responsible for the death of the family but the only witness, Na Rim lost her memory. So her uncle hires Oh Dal Gun to create a family for Na Rim on the recommendation that if Na Rim is happy then the chances of her getting her memory back are higher. He manages to find a complete family for Na Rim but the whole family weren't cooperate in the beginning. They used to quarrel with each other and there were a lot of problems occurring among them. However, all of them realise the importance of the family and their relationship becoming closer and closer....

4. My Girl

Lee Da-hae plays the role Ju Yoo-rin who is an imposter proficient in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Lee Dong-wook plays the role Seol Gong Chan who is the second generation heir of a big corporation. Because of his grandfather's illness, he's forced to ask Yoo-rin to be his long-lost cousin so that his grandfather's last wish can be fullfilled. So therefore, they both are bound in a lie that noone in the family knows the truth. Park Si-yeon plays the role of Kim Sae-hyun who grew up in a rich family and dreams to become a tennis star with the nickname “Sharapova of Korea. Her charm and intelligence attract many men. She and Yoo-rin have cutthroat competitions. Lee Jun-ki plays the playboy role Seo Jeong-woo who will fall also for Yoo-rin and finally learn to love that special someone.

Seen a few episodes..well the bait is just hard too resist..Rich man..Poor Girl..Love Triangles or should I say Square..U'll see..

5. This Love I Want To Kill ~ Ijuksa

Determined to spend the rest of his life with Han Da-jung to pay her for saving his life, Bok-ku one day falls in love with Cha Eun-suk, a top actress and the ex-girlfriend of his older brother. Bok-ku becomes her bodyguard to avenge his brother, who falls off a building while watching Eun-suk announce her engagement with another guy on TV and ends up in a vegetative state. But, ironically, Bok-ku ends up falling in love with Eun-suk against his wish.

Eun-suk is engaged—against her will—with Kim Jun-sung, the scion of a family-owned conglomerate that she advertises. Jun-sung aspires to become a politician someday, but he is also the future successor of the Hankuk Group, a company with an impeccable reputation. Eun-suk and Jun-sung are forced to get engaged after they are caught being together one day.

Well it has Rain..Need I say more... hehehe.. Just kidding... I don't know..To me, I kinda love the love-hate relationship Bok-ku has for Eun-suk .Blaming her for his brother death but in twist of an event loving her..Cried buckets but I just don't get the last ending..don't wanna be a spoiler so go watch it...
